The Standfast is our most popular table, preferred in better snooker clubs and private homes. The table is manufactured in best quality mahogany as standard, with other hardwoods such as oak also available.

The name of Thurston has been synonymous with the sport of Billiards and its successor Snooker since 1799 and our founder, John Thurston, is considered by many to be the father of the modern game.

International

Our founders aim was to create the world’s finest snooker tables. The International is the top of our standard range designed for exclusive private clubs, match rooms and quality homes.

We are the longest established snooker table makers in the world and we still manufacture our tables here in the UK, using the same traditional techniques we pioneered and the very best materials available. Victorian

In 1837 we had the honour of specially designing and installing for H.M. Queen Victoria a ‘Royal’ billiard table. Based on the specifications of this table we are proud to offer the ‘Victorian’ – a table of distinct design and quality.

We service and maintain tables all over the world for our clients. Our fully trained table fitters will travel to your premises and renovate your table to a high standard on site. Snooker & Pool tables of all sizes are catered for and custom design cloths are available on request.
